Overview

A bilingual artist website and online shop for one-of-one artworks, with Stripe Checkout, live inventory, shipping, and search-ready catalogue pages.

Challenge

The site needed to present original artworks with the restraint of an artist catalogue while supporting real purchases. Because each work is one-of-one, availability, presentation options, shipping, and checkout state had to stay connected rather than behave like a static product gallery.

Solution

We built a bilingual catalogue with artwork detail pages, presentation options, a cart, and region-based shipping choices. Stripe Checkout is connected to Supabase-backed inventory: a work is reserved while checkout is active, an expired checkout releases it again, and a completed Stripe session updates the work to sold through a webhook. The public pages also include canonical URLs, sitemap and indexing controls, social metadata, and structured data for artworks and journal content.

Outcome

A live artist commerce website connecting catalogue presentation, checkout, shipping, and one-of-one inventory state in one production system.
